I got down to the 3rd or 4th set of instruction and hey presto all is well. Reinstall the printhead Hold the printhead upright with the colored shape icons on the top. Use a fresh, lightly dampened, lint-free cloth to wipe the plastic ramps on both sides of the ink nozzles. Leaving the latch handle raised can result in incorrectly seated cartridges. How does HP install software and gather data?
